How to dress with style or Swag?

ok now im what you would consider a prep. I have nothing in my closet but Abercrombie, American Eagle, and Hollister. I'm beginning to get a little tired of me dressing the almost EXACT same way everyday just with different colors. I dont dress to impress other people, I dress to impress myself. Lately all these outfits i have are making me feel that i am something im not. I had a friend come over recently to play some video games with and chill. Now my friend happens to be black, but the way he desses is just sooooo.... well put together. He doesnt dress like a black guy, but doesnt dress all preppy either. He is always color coordinated and me and him were talking and he said (im quoting this) ';Dude, you have no swag, thats why you aint have no girls and you aint appealing to people.'; Now i must admit all of this is actually kinda true. i look like a poster board and im really feling what he's wearing, but i know i could buy the same exact outfit he has and it not look right because i dont have that style, i dont know how to put it together the way he does, i asked him about it and he said it was just him. i need help how to develop style or as he puts it ';swag';.



he dresses with Ed Hardy, DC, skate shoes, babes, striped shirts and jackets, crazy logos and stuff.... i call it skateboard swag... idk if theres an actual name for itHow to dress with style or Swag?
You cant just dress with swag. Swag starts with the person themselves you just gotta have that swag and the clothes will just enhance it. You have to have a confidence to you, like you're the hottest thing when you walk in a room.



If you think you wont look good in the same clothes as your friend just buy your own. If you want ';swag'; as you put it try wearing:

Put together outfits with these types of clothes. Using neon colours or Pastel colours, you cant go wrong.



And ';he doesn't dress like a black guy'; there is no typical way black guys dresses. there is no more baggy pants style. A lot of black guys i know wear ed hardy, dc shoes, nike airs etc and ALL of them would actually die if they weren't colour coordinated. Its just a new style. Their Fresh.
