I'm in charge of making the Prom Pullout section for my school newspaper (2 pages) and Im having some trouble thinking of ideas on how to lay it out...
The main story will be ';top dress styles.'; i have 6 pictures of girls in dresses with about 5 sentences for each. i laid them out next to each other with the text underneath and it looks so boring!
anyone have some ideas for how to lay out this part
and any suggestions that i can use for other things?How would you lay this out ...?
Get a stack of magazines at the library and look at how they lay out pages of photos and information. Concentrate on weeklies (Entertainment Weekly, People, etc.) that feature best/worst lists of celeb fashion at award shows. Photocopy the ones that you think will work for your newspaper and use that as a template.

try 2 put the text over the pics. u kno, make the pics a bakground
