';Mod'; style dress - what to wear with it?

I have a dress that is this cut (note this is not the color of my dress, just the cut/style): http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/2958878/0~23

The pattern of my dress looks is this: http://img407.imageshack.us/img407/2497/

And the trim on the top and bottom of my dress is a beige color.

What should I wear with it? The pattern is very busy so I feel as if I should not overpower it (or try to) with jewelry. However, it is winter, what would you wear under it? Or over it? To make it more season fitting. I'm going to probably wear it for New Year's for a small get together with some friends; nothing big, just fun.

So, how would you accessorize this? Jewelry? Shoes? Sweater? What kind of shirt under? Over? Basically, take that dress and make more of it, haha. Thanks! :)';Mod'; style dress - what to wear with it?
well your right about over powering the patern wear FLATS dont wear boots because then if you wear boots it will take away the mod look also for accessories dont wear a necklace bec you dress is already accentuating your neck mybe a big ring will look nice good luck';Mod'; style dress - what to wear with it?
Sorry the links sometimes on my mac dont work!
i would wear it with a pair of tights under with a chunky heel shoe. and then, either a cardigan over or a crisp, pressed white blouse under. i would wear a pretty pair of earrings and maybe a little bracelet, but not a whole lot of jewelry. good luck and hope you have fun!
Big hoop earrings and maybe boots. Nothing else unless you just happen to have an accessory that sings and dances with that dress.
you don't need to wear anything underneath it, just make sure you have a jacket/sweater/etc. for when you walk outside. maybe wear it with opaque black tights underneath. jewelry doesn't need to be any big deal...maybe if you can find some thin bangles that match the color, but i wouldn't go for earrings/necklace unless it's simple and silver. shoes...i really don't know. maybe silver flats if you can get your hands on some.
