Male dressing style help?

Okay I have a style that I would like to go for if possible for the next up coming school year and I needed help.

I like to dress up semi formal or formal with the button up shirts and what not. But I know that's a bit to much for a normal school day or hanging out with the guys. And I wanted to know how I can dress nicely in that way but also stay casual.

Thank you if this question made no sense to you please tell me and I'll try to rephrase it.

Thanks =]Male dressing style help?
Try going with some polo shirts, they have dressy ones and casual ones at Kohls. You could also go with some designer tees or the short sleeve dress shirts/sweaters (no collar). Male dressing style help?

You could always go with jeans + a less formal button up shirt. Not a white/blue dress shirt, just something that looks nice without making everyone think that you're dressing up for something. Maybe something with vertical stripes.

Also, the polo suggestion isn't horrible, especially if you are planning on doing anything vaguely physical in the outfit.
you can still wear a button up(unbuttoned) w/a tight tshirt underneath. For instance, get kind of a tighter fitting button up and wear a tight tshirt underneath..if anything's too baggy it'll throw off the look...then loosely tuck the very front of the tshirt underneath into your pants and be sure to wear a belt w/a flashy belt buckle, wear some jeans that aren't too baggy either and kind of faded(no rips or holes) but not the ';old'; faded that makes them look like they've been thru hell and back...then some nice black or brown shoes that match your belt always match ur belt and shoes...don't wear tennis shoes w/this outfit! go online and check out some of these styles...for the t-shirt underneath you can either wear a plain color or a graphic tee just make sure the color scheme matches...actually it would even look good to wear that outfit without the button-up shirt on top! if you do that then the tshirt has to be just a little loose..
