Help with best ways for teenage girls to dress in Rome please!?

Heyy

Aiuto con i migliori modi per ragazze a vestirsi a Roma per favore!?

My best friend and I are going to Rome in early July and we'd REALLY appreciate some tips on how teenage girls should dress...?? we've heard that it's pretty hot at that time. Could people (ESPECIALLY WOMEN) suggest what kinds of clothing we should wear?? Being stylish is not an issue... neither of us own ANYTHING ugly or scruffy =)

BUT HELP WOULD REALLY BE APPRECIATED!!!!

...like, how people dress... styles etc.

- how to dress according to the heat

PLEASE AND THANK-YOU

PS- we're from London so rain is the norm for us

PPS- please reply in English =))))))

as long as you're wearing high heels, mini skirts and tank tops you'll look great!! consider that in July it will be incredibly hot, so there is no need for you to worry about jackets and so on, the only thing is that, in my opinion, you should also consider the idea of bringing comfortable shoes (which have to be worn with trousers, or you'll look like a tourist!) because, in case you go sightseeing, you'll probably have to walk a lot.

hope it helped, enjoy your trip!!

Togas and leafy head wear
Ciao!!

i spent last summer in Rome as i was au pairing close by, it is ridiculously hot in summer there, stifling as there is no breeze whatsoever. I would suggest really cool (as in light fabrics like cotton), wear a hat if you can find a nice one as sunstroke is no fun. i noticed when i was there that all young female tourists wear skirts and dresses which are great for keeping cool but most italian girls wore jeans and t-shirts...also gladiator sandals were everywhere so i guess that they still will be as they're still on the british high street now.

take a nice big bag to put a cardi or jumper in for when you're around at night as it suddenly cools down.

hope it helps!
