How do I look/dress like a southern girl?

Well last summer I flew to Texas to visit some family and I fell completely in love with the culture of the south. The people, the music, the food, everything. I unfortunately live in Ohio. Can you tell me what to do to get the look of a southern girl? How should I dress, style my hair, wear my makeup?



And by southern girl I mean the girls from Texas, Oklahoma, North Carolina, Missouri, (you get it).

Black out a few teeth, cut your IQ in half, wear some trashy jean shorts and a flannel shirt.



For good measure, you might wanna sleep with a family member.



That should give you the whole ';southern'; look / feel.
from what i have seen, proper southern ladies (not the hicks lol) are always put together. nails are always done, hair is always perfect. its usually straight and blonde. and they are very preppy. jus wear jeans that fit well, cute tops, nice jewlery, and nice flats or heels. i dunno if thats the answer you were looking for. why dont you just copy what the girls were wearing down there?
Ok people are very stereotypical! Girls in Texas are gorgeous and have all of their teeth. I'm from Texas and have been called very beautiful. I am from Texas, but I'm still a city girl. Well if you really wanted to look the part..wear a pair of cowboy boots with some shorts, skirts, jeans...with a tank top and a cowgirl hat. Most of the girls here go for a more natural look with their makeup because Texas gets a lot of sun so we usually all have that sun-kissed glow..sorry I couldn't be of more help.
hey girl! I'm from the north (Pennsylvania), but I think I'm really into fashion...but you might have to do some research.



Girls in the south dress with a lot of respect. I don't know how old you are, but it really depends. If you are under still in school, definitely you should shop at Forever21 and Express because those stores are very fashionable, but at the same time, it's still classy. People from the South are very classy, well at least they have a lot more class than a lot of the girls from the North. And if your out of school and around thirty or older, definitely check out J.Crew. A lot of the those girls always wear heels, so definitely you should check out a pair of heels that's kind of everyday type of heels...not too exciting, but at the same time, not too old, dull, etc. If you wear a lot of sneakers...try to get rid of it, and wear flats/heels. In the winter time, go for boots like UGGS or like boots from Urban Outfitters.
